Prison Time

A man was sentenced to prison for 20 years because of over crowdedness it was reduced to 10 years and probation. While he was in prison his cell a line of ants formed. He decided to take one for a pet; He was very lonely. He took the best looking ant and put in a penny match box.

He gave that ant a piece of his meal every day. over the course of 10 years he taught that ant to sing Yankee Doodle Dandy.  The day that he was released he went to a near by tavern.

As soon as he sat down he suddenly remembered that he was on probation and couldn't have alcohol.  He ordered a soda instead. Remembering the ant he pulled out the penny match box. Then he sat the ant on the table and he said to the bartender "See this." The bartender smashed the ant and replied "We get those all the time."
