The most difficult thing in the world
Is to say "no" to the one you love.
If I say "yes" to every one of your wishes ;
Would I be loving, you, or buying your love?
I am not always right,
But I'm not always wrong either.
I can only call on my experiences
And make the decisions I think are best for us.
My love for you is the tie breaker,
If the decision is maybe yes, maybe no;
Then the love I have is the tie breaker in your favor.
IF you judge my decisions
As an indication of my love for you
Then you must consider a no answer
As a sign of my love.
I will listen to all of your reason why.
I expect you to listen to all of my reason why not.
As I respect you and your questions;
I wish you would respect me and my answers.
As you grow older you will find
Yes answers today to last year's questions.
Why the change in the answer?
Because of the changes in you.
Soon you will be old enough
to answer your own questions.
I will sit back and enjoy your decisions.
You also will not be right all the time.
You, as a human being,
are entitled to make mistakes;
no one is perfect,
not even me.
I will always be here
to help you reach a decision.
