Computer Language.
A computer was something you saw on TV;
Most often on a science fiction show.
A window was something housekeepers didnt do.
Ram was the cousin of a goat.
Meg was the name of a female classmate;
And gig was a job for the local band.
An application was something completed for employment.
A program was a TV show.
A cursor was a person who used profanity.
A keyboard was used to play a piano.
Memory was something your Grandparents were loosing.
A CD was a high interest bank account.
And if you had a 3 ½" floppy, you hoped nobody found out.
Compress was something you put on your head,
not something you did to conserve space in a folder.
Zipping and/or unzipped in public was not acceptable.
Log on was adding wood to the fire.
Hard drive was a long trip on the road.
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived.
Backup was something that happened to the toilet.
Cut and paste was done with scissors and glue;
A web was a spider's home where you did not want to go.
Virus meant the flu.
Nobody's been killed in a computer crash;
But when it happens, they wish they were dead.
