Doctors & Lawyers

A doctor and a lawyer were having dinner together at a restaurant when one of the doctor's patients noticed them. The woman walked from her table to the two, and asked, "I know this isn't a great time, doctor, but I have been having some trouble with headaches lately, and I'm wondering what to do?"

"Are you feeling sick to your stomach?" the doctor asked her.

"No," replied the woman.

"Is it impairing your vision or any other faculties?" the doctor asked.

"No, it's just a headache that won't go away," she answered.

"Well, I recommend you take two aspirin and go home and try to get some sleep," the doctor answered, and the woman went back to her table.

Then the doctor turned to the lawyer and asked, "Do you think I should bill her?"

"No, I don't think you should," the lawyer answered, and they continued their meal.

The next day, the doctor received a bill from the lawyer.
